On June 6, 2023, Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria met with representatives of the Polish Church and through them handed over a panagia for the Primate of the Polish Church, Metropolitan Sawa, the website of the Church of Alexandria reports.
Patriarch Theodore expressed his conviction that the Polish Primate sympathizes with the Patriarchate of Alexandria "because of all sorts of injustices" this Church "is exposed to in long-suffering Africa."
He is sure that Metropolitan Sawa will condemn "any concept of violent, vengeful, unjust, and illegal actions against" the Church of Alexandria.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Patriarch Theodore, Orthodox and Catholics should become servants of the unity of the Church.
