On 29 June 2023, the Court of Appeal released Viktoriya Kokhanovska from 24-hour house arrest and left her with only overnight house arrest. Straight from the court building she went to a prayer stand at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Kokhanovska is streaming on her Facebook page.

"Believe in the rule of law, stand up for your constitutional rights, never mind the temporary difficulties that try to break you. The more you are broken, the stronger you become," said Viktoriya Kohanovska.

As reported, Viktoriya Kokhanovska was kidnapped from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. It later turned out that the kidnappers were law enforcers. She was accused of hooliganism and then announced a suspicion under Part 1 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional acts aimed at inciting national, racial or religious hatred and enmity). On 21 April, Viktoriya Kokhanovska was placed under 24-hour house arrest.
