New churches of UOC consecrated in Kharkiv and Tulchin Eparchies

On the Forefeast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, new churches were consecrated in Kharkiv and Tulchin Eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

On September 20, 2020, Metropolitan Onufriy of Kharkiv and Bogodukhiv performed the rite of the great consecration of the Church of the New Martyrs of Slobozhansky land in the urban-type settlement Krasnokutsk, Kharkiv region, reports the press service of the Kharkiv Eparchy.

At the small entrance, by the decree of the Primate of the UOC, for his zealous service to the Church of God and in consideration of the efforts to build the church, the rector Priest Viacheslav Golovlev was awarded the right to wear a pectoral cross with decorations.

In the village of Strazhgorod, Teplik district, Vinnytsia region, with the blessing of the ruling bishop Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchin and Bratslav, the rite of consecration of the Сhurch of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos and the liturgy were performed by the vicar of the Tulchin Eparchy of the UOC, Bishop Sergiy of Ladyzhin, reports the press service of the Tulchin Eparchy.

Vladyka was concelebrated by the rector, Archpriest Anatoly Buchinsky, and the clergy of the Teplik church district, headed by Archimandrite Herman Tartachny.

As reported earlier, a new church of the UOC was consecrated in Bashuky.
