Date of trial on measure of restraint for Metropolitan Pavel is known

On July 14, 2023, a trial will be held that will choose a measure of restraint for Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed). This was announced in his telegram channel by the lawyer of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Priest Nikita Chekman.

“The court session, which will decide the issue of changing the measure of restraint to the observance of Metropolitan Pavel in custody, will be held on July 14, 2023, at 14:00, in the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv at the address: Kyiv, 25 Maxyma Kryvonosa St. Judge: V. Zhovnovatyuk,” the lawyer wrote.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the prosecutor's office demands that the abbot of the Lavra be transferred to a pre-trial detention center.
