Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church informed the Local Churches about the discrimination against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports the website of the Moscow Patriarchate.

"I fraternally provide you with an information briefing on the newly undertaken attempts to seize the Lavra and other major monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as well as on the discriminatory laws enacted against it, the unlawful actions of Ukrainian special services, law enforcement agencies, and local authorities, ongoing church seizures, cases of aggression and violence against the faithful of the canonical Church, and the response of international human rights organizations to these events," wrote the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russian Orthodox Church announced the registration of three eparchies of the UOC in the Donbas according to Russian laws.
