Sumy Sretensky Church of UOC damaged over a missile strike

On July 29, 2023, the Sretensky Church of the UOC in Sumy was damaged in a rocket attack by the RF, reports local sources citing the church's rector, Archpriest Anatoly Poloz.

It is reported that the dome's covering was damaged, and windows in the church, as well as the Sunday school building, were shattered. There is no information on casualties.

The Sretensky Church is currently in its final stages of construction, but religious services are being held in it.

As earlier reported, the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa was partially destroyed by a rocket strike.
