Oleg Tkachenko, a representative of one of the evangelical churches, a military "chaplain" of the 92nd brigade, of the "Aydar" battalion, said that he prayed with Muslims, reports the "Patriot of Donbas" resource.
According to the Protestant pastor, "the war that came to Ukraine led to some transformation in the attitude of some religious denominations to others".
“We pray together with Muslims. Everyone serves. They are present at our prayers. And this does not send anyone into a tailspin or misunderstanding. Our task is to serve people and fulfil their spiritual needs. Helping them to survive as a person is a priority,” Tkachenko stressed.
As reported earlier, representatives of the OCU and the Uniates held a joint "divine service".
