In Netishyn, Khmelnytsky Oblast (and throughout the region – Ed.), believers of the UOC pray in a house after the seizure of their temple by OCU raiders.

The video of the service in Netishyn was published on the YouTube channel of the Holy Trinity Mezhyrich Monastery.

“Perhaps, friends, for many, the house-to-house ministry, which has become commonplace within our UOC, is somewhat reminiscent of the Soviet past, but a Christian must remember that nothing is accidental, and the world exists solely according to God's laws. Let us remember that the Church also bore generous fruit during this period. We do not choose what period to live in, but we choose whether we should be humans or non-humans,” the statement said.

Recall that on July 27, 2023, OCU raiders, with the support of the police, seized the UOC temple in the name of St. Paraskeva. Earlier, supporters of the OCU illegally re-registered the religious community of the above church. The reason for this was the decision of the meeting of the territorial community, which was held on April 9.

On April 7, the deputies of the Netishyn City Council decided to ban the activities of the UOC in the city and take away land plots under the cathedral in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "The Burning Bush" and the St. Paraskeva Church.

As the UOJ previously reported, OCU raiders seized the temple of the UOC in Netishyn.
