UOC Primate officiates at celebration of Synaxis of Saints in Far Caves

On 10 September 2023, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry officiated at the celebration of the Synaxis of the Kyiv-Pechersk Saints resting in the Far Caves, reports the press service of the UOC.

The Primate was concelebrated by the head of the UOC DECR, Metropolitan Meletii, the head of the UOC Information and Education Department, Metropolitan Clement, Metropolitan Filaret of Lviv and Galicia, Archbishop Silvester of Bilohorodka, Archbishop Sergiy of Ladyzhynka, Archbishop Dionisiy of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi, Bishop Spyridon of Vyshneve, Bishop Lavr of Irpin, Bishop Mark of Borodianka, Bishop Arkadiy of Hostomel and the clergy of the monastery.

The Primate asked for God's mercy to the Ukrainian people, so that the Lord would wise the authorities, strengthen the courage of the soldiers, release the captives, heal the sick and shelter the homeless.

The Liturgy ended with the glorification of the saints before the icon of the Synaxis of the Holy Fathers of the Kyiv Caves, in the Far Caves resting.
