Iryna Herashchenko, a member of parliament from the "European Solidarity" faction, stated that the Office of the President had conducted negotiations with Phanar representatives to receive a new Tomos for the union of the OCU and the UOC. She wrote about this in her blog for "UP" (Ukrainska Pravda).

"Recently, they have discussed crazy scenarios in Bankova regarding a new Tomos. They said, 'We need to unite the OCU and the UOC in a new UOC and get a Tomos with Zelensky's signature and name on it.' The Office of the President even sent envoys to the Ecumenical Patriarch to probe the ground," she wrote.

As reported, Iryna Herashchenko said that Ukraine's international partners are concerned about the possible ban on the UOC.
