On 5 October 2023, representatives of the Territorial Conscription Center and police officers announced to the lawyer of the Chernihiv Eparchy of the UOC Oleksandr Shamko that he was wanted and offered to go with them to the Territorial Conscription Center (TCC). This happened at the moment when the lawyer was providing legal assistance to the eparchy during the sealing of the UOC temples by the Ministry of Culture Commission.

In the video, published by the UOC Information and Education Department, the military and law enforcers inform Oleksandr Shamko that he was wanted, as he allegedly did not arrive at the TCC according to the previously received summons. The lawyer claims that he did not receive any summons. According to him, he has been on the military register since 2008. The military officers offered the lawyer to immediately accompany him to the TCC and undergo a military medical commission.

Earlier it was reported that the military forcibly took Oleksandr Shamko to the TCC.
