Archbishop Alexis of Tiberias said he will not leave the Gaza Strip at least one Christian in the territory. The address of the hierarch of the Jerusalem Orthodox Church was published by the resource Orthodoxia News Agency.
"Until there is at least one Christian in the territory of Gaza, I will not go anywhere, because I can be a hope for them, so I will stay in the province that believes in me. If I die, I will have a dignified death as my lot!”," he said.
As reported, hundreds of people were killed after an Israeli strike on a Gaza Baptist hospital.
