Mufti to give lecture on Islam in Ukraine at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

In the premises of the Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art located in the Upper Lavra, a lecture ‘Islam in Ukraine: the Role of Crimea in its Origin, Development, Decline and Modern Revival’ will be held,” reports the museum on its Facebook page.

The lecture will be conducted by Mufti Murat Suleymanov of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Ukraine "Umma". The project is financed by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

Building 2, in which the lecture will be held, closely adjoins the building of the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

As reported, a girl in a Ukrainian costume danced in the Refectory Church of the Lavra.
