On November 9, 2023, clergy and laity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church continued their prayer vigil near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, as reported by the Telegram channel "Pershy Kozatsky".

The service in front of the church dedicated to the Venerable Sergius of Radonezh was led by the rector of the Cross Exaltation parish of the UOC in Podil, Archpriest Valery Kravets.

Despite the daily appearance of provocateurs near the sanctuary who consistently attempt to disrupt the prayer and insult the faithful, the worshippers remain undeterred.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Orthodox Christians prayed near the Lavra the day before, enduring rain, cold weather, and provocations from anti-church "activists."
