Ukrainian Member of Parliament Artem Dmytruk has sent parliamentary appeals to the Interior Minister, Ihor Klymenko, and the Director of the State Bureau of Investigations, Oleksii Sukhachev, concerning the use of force during the seizure of the Holy Spirit Church of the UOC in the village of Luh in Zakarpattia. The MP made this announcement on his Telegram channel.

Dmytruk emphasized that law enforcement officials who failed to act during the seizure of the sanctuary should also be held accountable.

In his appeal, Dmytruk, referring to members of the community, stated that police officers present near the church at the time of the seizure took no action to stop the criminal actions of the raiders from the OCU.

As a reminder, on November 11, 2023, the head of the security firm Armor, Mykhailo Moysiuk, attacked a pregnant woman during the seizure of the Holy Spirit Church of the UOC in the village of Luh in Zakarpattia.

As reported by the UOJ, in Luh, Zakarpattia, individuals in camouflage attire broke into the church, seizing it.
