On November 28, 2023, the head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko spoke at the international conference on freedom of religion and belief, which is taking place in Prague.

The event took place at the Czernin Palace in Prague, the seat of the Czech Foreign Ministry. Rapporteurs from the UK and the UN said, "Freedom of religion continues to be threatened and believers are persecuted for their beliefs, especially in countries with authoritarian and totalitarian regimes."

At the conference, there was a condemnation of the “instrumentalization by the Kremlin of the Moscow Patriarchate to achieve the goals of its aggression” against Ukraine.

The general theme of the conference is the protection of religious freedom from the pressure of totalitarian regimes of the past and present.

As earlier reported, according to American lawyer Bob Amsterdam, the actions of the Ukrainian authorities against the Church are not much different from the policies of the Bolsheviks.
