Serbian Patriarch congratulates UOC Primate on his ordination anniversary

On 9 December 2023, on the day of the 33rd anniversary of Metropolitan Onuphry's hierarchical ordination, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia sent him a congratulatory letter," the website of the UOC DECR reports.

According to Patriarch Porfirije, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry is a devoted servant of Christ's Church: "Being for a long time in the place of pastor of the Church of Christ in suffering Ukraine, you worthily responded to God's call, interceding before God for the flock entrusted to you and offering gifts and sacrifices for the sins of all (Hebrews 5:1)."

The Serbian Primate wished peace to Metropolitan Onuphry and the entire UOC.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Serbian Patriarch congratulated Metropolitan Onuphry on the anniversary of his enthronement.
