The SBU leadership invited Ukraine's Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman to report on the work done to counter anti-Semitism in several cities, Asman said on Facebook.
The rabbi praised the law enforcers and said he was "pleasantly impressed" by their efficiency.
He said SBU officers had uncovered a series of anti-Semitic provocations organised by Russian citizens who were also preparing terrorist attacks.
"Thanks to G-d, this did not happen because of the timely intervention of law enforcers," the rabbi wrote.
He said that the Russians "tried to use CHILDREN to achieve their goals – to hold a series of anti-Semitic actions to quarrel Ukraine with Israel."
Asman assured that "the SBU is ready to respond to unlawful manifestations and asks to report any suspicious activity" against Jews.
As earlier reported, according to Asman, Ukrainians and Jews have one enemy and one destiny.
