UOC Сhancellor reports on the Holy Synod’s decisions

In an address published on the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the UOC Chancellor Metropolitan Anthony spoke about the decisions made by the Holy Synod on 26 December 2023.
During the meeting, the UOC Synod appointed the abbot of the Panteleimon Monastery in Odesa and dismissed the abbess of Iberian Icon of the Mother of God Convent in the Yuzefin Tract in the village of Hlynne, Rivne region.
The Holy Synod also approved for liturgical use the text of the service in honour of the "Volodymyr-Tithes" (“Volodymyrska-Desiatynna”) Icon of the Mother of God, located in the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the Tithe Monastery, Kyiv.
As reported, the Synod of the UOC said that the criminal cases against the hierarchs are questionable.
