On December 29, 2023, the head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, held a "molieben" in the  St. Nicholas Cathedral of Kremenets taken away from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The Dumenko's press service reported that the "community recently joined" the OCU along with the church, and the prayer in Ukrainian, which sounded temple seized from the UOC a few weeks ago, will now "sound always."

Addressing the gathered supporters of the OCU, Dumenko, whose structure beats UOC believers and takes away their churches, said that "we, Christians, are called to embody in our lives the Gospel law, which the incarnate Lord Jesus Christ brought to us. And this law is based on love."

He also told his listeners that "where there is love, there is unity," and suddenly recalled mercy and goodness, also calling on them "not to be indifferent to others."

Apparently, it was for this "mercy" and special attention to "others" who belong to the UOC, manifested in numerous church raids, that Dumenko thanked "Metropolitan" Nestor of Ternopil and "dean" of the same diocese of the OCU, Volodymyr Buhrak.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Volodymyr Buhrak is convinced that society has "matured" to ban the UOC, and the authorities must take this into account.
