Cardinal Gerhard Müller, former Prefect of the RCC Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, believes that Jesus Christ could be crucified today for his teachings on marriage and the family.

In an interview with GB News, Cardinal Müller said that "the pastoral care for the spiritual salvation of every person is the responsibility of all priests, bishops and popes."

He said, "Jesus contradicts the 'ideologues' who want to relativise or even destroy marriage between a man and a woman and the family of parents with their children."

"Jesus Christ would be condemned today not only because he is the Messiah, but also for his proclamation of marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman,'" Müller noted.

As reported, the RCC Cardinal called the blessing of same-sex couples sacrilege.
