MP Artem Dmytruk made bail for the archdeacon of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Pavel (Muzychko), reports Dmytruk on his Telegram channel.
"Bail is made," he briefly reported.
As reported, on 13 February, a court hearing on the selection of the measure of restraint for Hierodeacon Pavel (Muzychko) of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was held at the Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv.
The judge imposed a measure of restraint of 121,000 hryvnias on the monk and ordered him to wear an electronic bracelet. The Lavra's monk must surrender his foreign passport for the duration of the pre-trial investigation until April 9, 2024, not leave the boundaries of Kyiv without permission from the investigator, prosecutor or court, refrain from contacting witnesses in this criminal case, and be prepared to appear in court upon the first demand.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) accused the archdeacon of "organising provocations in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra". He was reported suspicion under Article 436-2, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "justification of armed aggression of the Russian Federation".
