The lawyer of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Bob Amsterdam said that there cannot be laws in Europe that prohibit religion.
In a brief interview with journalist Anna Rybalka of "5 Channel", Bob Amsterdam stated that he had come to Ukraine to "meet with his client – the Ukrainian Orthodox Church."
Rybalka asked Amsterdam why he constantly criticizes the law "on the so-called" ban of the Church if this law has not yet been adopted.
The lawyer of the UOC replied that he "criticizes the entire thing" because "Europe is living in the 21st century and there is no room here for laws banning religion, sure!"
"If you think that someone, God forbid, supports Russia, then charge them with criminal offenses," concluded Bob Amsterdam.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Bob Amsterdam told Tucker Carlson that the state-created OCU takes away temples from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
