On 24 February 2024, during the seizure of St. Panteleimon’s Church, there was a dialogue between the AFU warrior, who is a parishioner of this temple, and the "cleric" of the OCU Yuriy Bolshakov, who is involved in seizures throughout the area. The video was published on the Telegram channel dozor_kozak1.

The AFU soldier told the raiders he was fighting in the Kupiansk direction. "And we are fighting here," replied the OCU "clerics" of the PCU. The parishioners of the temple asked the raiders in bewilderment, "Who are you fighting with? You are at war with women."

As earlier reported, the Panteleimon community of the UOC in Vyshhorod again kicked out the raiders and reclaimed their temple.
