The OCU "priest" Roman Hryshchuk, known for his activities to incite hostility against the UOC, called on Facebook the Romanian Patriarchate's decision to create the "Romanian Church of Ukraine" a "knife in the back of Ukrainians" and a "brazen invasion of the canonical territory of the OCU".

"The Romanian Patriarch decided to invade the canonical territory of the OCU and create on the Ukrainian territory his Romanian structure, which will be subject to Romania and him!" Hryshchuk expresses indignation.

According to him, "this brazen interference in the life of another State and Church" is "a mechanism of Romanian separatism" to "tear off a piece of Ukraine".

"According to the Tomos, all Orthodox living in Ukraine must be part of the OCU!" assured the "priest". According to him, the Romanian Church is "interested in separatism and dismemberment of Ukraine."

As reported, Dumenko called the foundation of the Romanian Church of Ukraine a provocation against the OCU.
