On April 18, in the village of Tsvetokha of the Khmelnytsky Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, representatives of the OCU fraudulently seized the church, said the rector of St. Paraskeva Church, Archpriest Georgy Kimeychuk.
The priest told the Telegram channel "Vitrazh Inform" that the supporters of the OCU used the help of servicemen from the local unit. While no one was in the temple, they replaced the locks and set up security for the night.
“Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I apologize to all of you for failing to be worthy of your trust! In this connection, I inform you, dear brothers and sisters, those who remain faithful to Christ and His holy catholic apostolic Church, where we have the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), continue to remain faithful to God! At the moment, we are deciding with the parishioners where we will pray to God because we are not allowed to attend the temple now, which the grace of God has already left,” said Archpriest Georgy.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the OCU Eustratiy Zoria held a "bishop's service" in the temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Pryputni, the Ichnia OTG of the Chernihiv region, seized by supporters of his structure.
