Lawyer Priest Nikita Chekman revealed that representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, who arrived to conduct a search at the Legal Defense Center of the UOC, were unable to provide a court decision authorizing the search.

The law enforcement officers claim that they will still carry out the search, as they have urgent investigative actions to undertake.

"They chose to forcibly open doors and break locks. All these actions will be documented from our side. I hope that the legal community will somehow react to this arbitrariness," concluded the lawyer.

As reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists, on March 12, 2024, SBU representatives conducted searches at the Legal Defense Center of the UOC.
