The hearing at the Northern Appellate Commercial Court on the eviction of the brotherhood of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra has been postponed. According to the lawyer of the UOC, Father Nikita Chekman, the reason for the postponement was the self-recusal of one of the judges.

A new date for the hearing will be set later.

"Thank God, there are still people with conscience and the fear of God. Thank you all for your prayers. May the Lord and conscience guide the new panel of judges to a just decision," commented Fr. Nikita.

To support the brethren and defenders of the monastery, clergy and believers gathered outside the courthouse. The lawyer informed them of the news and thanked them for their prayers.

As the UOJ reported, the composition of the judicial panel in this case had already been completely changed before.
