During his visit to Ukraine on May 5-6, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with President Vladimir Zelensky, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, as well as the head of the OCU Sergei (Epiphany) Dumenko, Novoye Vremya reports.

Philip Riker, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, noted that the official "will reaffirm the United States' unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's ongoing aggression."

In addition, Blinken will encourage continued progress on Ukraine's institutional reform and anti-corruption agenda, "which is key to ensuring Ukraine's democratic institutions, economic prosperity and a Euro-Atlantic future."

Earlier, Kurt Volker, former special representative of the US State Department for Ukraine, discussed the interfaith situation in the country with Dumenko.
