On April 27, during a fire in the village of Korobchyne in the Kirovohrad region, in a house where parishioners of the UOC gather for worship, despite the proximity of the fire, the icon of the Mother of God "Sviatohirska" was not harmed. Moreover, the face of the Mother of God was reflected on the wall behind the icon. This was reported to the Sviatohirsk Lavra by a resident of the village, Nadezhda.

The woman's letter was published in the monastery: "Brethren, bless. I, the handmaid of God Nadezhda, a resident of Druzhkivka, am currently living in a village in the Kirovohrad region. Last summer, I had the honor of attending the celebration of the Sviatohirsk icon of the Mother of God in the Lavra and bought a print of the icon as a gift for our rural parish from the monastery shop.

For over a year now, we have been serving in a small house (our church was taken away). On the night of April 27, 2024, there was a fire in this house. Miraculously, the house did not burn down completely. But what amazed people the most was that on the wall where the Sviatohirsk icon of the Mother of God hung, Her face was reflected, although there is no image on the reverse side of the icon. The icon itself miraculously survived as well – only the glass of the shrine melted. Thanks be to God for everything!"

Nadezhda also sent photos confirming her words.

As reported by the UOJ, the brethren of the Sviatohirsk Lavra began to pray around the clock for their abbot.
