On May 19, 2021, Metropolitan Varsonofy of Vinnytsia and Bar led the Divine Liturgy in the lower church of the Cathedral of St Sava of Serbia in Belgrade, reports the website of the Vinnytsia Eparchy.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the cathedral, as well as the clergy of the Vinnytsia Eparchy.

During the liturgy, special prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, the end of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as for the health of patients and doctors.

The divine service was broadcast by the SOC channel:

After the liturgy, a special rite took place with the glorification of Saint Sava: according to local tradition, the bishop blessed the kalach, wine and koliva, which was then given to the faithful.

After the end of the divine service, Metropolitan Varsonofy and the pilgrims visited the grave of the late Serbian Patriarch Irinej, where they prayed for the repose of the soul of the former Primate of the SOC, who departed to the Lord on November 20, 2020.

Earlier, the clergy of the Vinnytsia Eparchy, headed by the ruling bishop Metropolitan Varsonofy, arrived in the Srem Eparchy of the SOC.

Also, on May 18, Bishop Irinej of Bačka of the Serbian Church met with a delegation of the UOC.
