In Rivne region, MinCulture inspecting churches - architectural monuments

In Rivne region, the Ministry of Culture has approved a commission tasked with verifying the preservation of nearly 50 churches - monuments of national architectural significance, reports Suspilne.
The commission consists of 26 representatives from various agencies, including relevant officials, regional authorities, law enforcement representatives, and architects. They are conducting inspections from April 22 to June 30.
According to Yuriy Kalytynsky, the head of the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Rivne Regional State Administration, the commission has already inspected the Holy Trinity Monastery in Mezhyrich, the Holy Trinity Monastery, St. Nicholas Church, and the Church of St. Anthony in Korytsa, the Holy Intercession Church in Svitanok village, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and the Church of St. Anthony in Velyki Mezhyrychi:
"We inspected these over three days. A technical condition report is drawn up on the day of the inspection, describing the items and their preservation status. We intend to continue after Easter. In the near future, we plan to inventory the Holy Epiphany Cathedral and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Ostroh, the Church of St. Lawrence in Taykurakh, the St. Nicholas Church and bell tower in Kornyn. Also, the Church of St. George, the Church of the Carmelite nuns, the cells of the Bernardine monastery, the St. Nicholas Church in Dubno, and the St. Michael's Church in Myrohoshcha Persha," the official said.
According to the further plan, the commission will inspect the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Korytne village, the Holy Intercession Church and bell tower in Mlyniv, the St. Michael's Church, and the St. George Cathedral in Plyasheva.
Kalytynsky noted that such inventory had been conducted for the first time in 40 years.
As reported by the UOJ, Mariana Tomyn, Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and head of the commission for transferring objects of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to the state, stated that there would be a "stocktaking" of the relics of the Kyiv-Pechersk saints in the monastery caves.
