The thirteenth eparchial charitable action took place with the blessing of Metropolitan Evlogy of Sumy and Akhtyrka.

"The action took place throughout the Great Lent of 2024. As in previous years, boxes with the action logo were placed in every temple of the Sumy Eparchy, where anyone could make a donation. On the third day of Easter, all funds collected were transferred to the accounting department and counted," the message says.

It is noted that despite the ongoing war, the residents of Sumy united in the common cause of mercy and raised 964,160 hryvnias for the treatment of children with cancer.

As reported, the Sumy City Council and the eparchy agreed on the arrangement of shelters in temples.
