The court hearing on the appeal against the measure of restraint imposed on Metropolitan Arseniy will take place on 13 May 2024, as reported on the Telegram channel of the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
The hearing will take place at 15:00 in the Dnipro Appellate Court located at 13 Kharkivska Street, Dnipro.
The brethren of the Lavra ask for prayers for Metropolitan Arseniy of Sviatohirsk, who is currently in detention.
As earlier reported by the UOJ, on 25 April, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office announced that the court ordered Metropolitan Arseniy, the abbot of the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra, to be remanded in custody for 60 days without the right to post bail.
Later, a video of the sermon for which Metropolitan Arseniy is being prosecuted was published online.
