On 11 May, the OCU “synod” announced the establishment of monasteries in two eparchies.
"Upon the presentation of Metropolitan Andriy of Galicia, who oversees the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy, and Archbishop Herman of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Nova Ushytsia, a blessing was given for the opening of monasteries in these eparchies, and their leaders were appointed," the OCU website states.
As reported, earlier the OCU created clones of UOC monasteries in Volyn.
