Dn. Andrei Antchoutine of ROCOR passed away at 32, leaving behind a family in need and a legacy of faith and service.
GLEN COVE, NY — Dn. Andrei Antchoutine of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia’s Holy Virgin Intercession Church reposed suddenly on Monday, March 30, at the age of 32, the Eastern American Diocese reports. He is survived by his wife, Natalya, and their two young children, Alexei and Mila, who are seeking financial support to cover funeral and related expenses.
Ordained to the diaconate by Metr. Nicholas on September 27, 2022, Dcn. Andrei served in holy orders for the last three and a half years of his life. A GiveSendGo fundraiser states: “A devoted member of the Russian Orthodox Church, he lived a life guided by faith, kindness, and service. He was always ready to help others, both within the parish and in the broader community, offering support, guidance, and a helping hand whenever it was needed.”
“He will be remembered for the love he poured into his family, the countless ways he helped others, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him,” the campaign adds.
Memorial and funeral services are scheduled through April 2, including burial at Novo-Diveevo Convent and a memorial repast in Nyack.
