On May 21, 2024, a photo of the Cross with the Ukrainian flag at the top appeared in the local Telegram channel.

The Cross was installed by the efforts and means of parishioners and the rector of the Exaltation of the Cross Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church 14 years ago.

The height of the Cross, towering over the city, is 14 meters, and its weight is 8 tons.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Exaltation of the Cross Church in Karvasary of Kamianets-Podilskyi was taken away from the UOC community.
