Dr. Antonios Liberakis stated that "the Ecumenical Patriarch in Ukraine, by signing the Tomos of Autocephaly, granted 43 million Ukrainians religious freedom."

"We are gathered here for those who are persecuted and cannot freely exercise their religious rights," he added. According to him, the archons of the Phanar will continue to advocate for religious freedom for all denominations and people. He also stated that "there is no freedom without democracy."

Co-chair Athanasios Martinos believes that "today Orthodox Christians of all nationalities turn to the Ecumenical Patriarch for solace and hope," and the expediency of his decision to grant Ukraine the Tomos of Autocephaly is confirmed by events."
