Another hearing on Upper Lavra case postponed in Kyiv

A hearing regarding the rights of the brethren to serve in the Upper Lavra was supposed to take place at the Northern Appellate Commercial Court of Kyiv on June 12, 2024. However, according to the Save_Lavra Telegram channel, the hearing was postponed.

The court granted the motion of the Ministry of Culture's representative to postpone the hearing due to being busy with another case.

The next hearing on the Upper Lavra case is scheduled for July 10 at 14:00.

As reported by the UOJ, cases concerning the Lower Lavra, particularly regarding the monks' exclusion from participation in the judicial process as a third party, have been transferred to the Supreme Court. All hearings in the appellate court are being postponed until decisions are made by the Supreme Court.
