Israeli transvestite and LGBT representative Erika Kolosov held a concert opposite the Tower of David in the historic part of Jerusalem.
Kolosov posted a short video from his concert on Instagram, stating that holding the event near the Tower of David, which was almost canceled, is a "victory".
"My community exists, it is alive and active. It volunteers and fights... This is what victory looks like to me," Kolosov wrote.
The video shows the walls near the Tower of David decorated with LGBT symbols, and a considerable number of people attended the "drag performer" concert, as Kolosov refers to himself.
The Tower of David got its name from Byzantine Christians who believed that the palace of the holy king and psalmist David was located at this site.
Earlier, UOJ reported that an LGBT march in Kyiv lasted 10 minutes.
