Primate of Polish Church congratulates Metropolitan Onufry on his Angel Day

His Beatitude Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and All Poland congratulated the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, on the day of his namesake.

The text of the congratulatory letter on June 25, 2021, the day of memory of the Monk Onuphrius the Great, was published by the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the UOC.

“I cordially congratulate you on the Day of your Heavenly Patron Saint Onuphrius the Great. In the spirit of fraternal love, I wish that the Lord, through His prayers, would give you health and His rich mercies, supporting your all-round labors for the glory of the Holy Ukrainian Orthodox Church and all Orthodoxy, as well as peace and good things for each day of your life,” wrote the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church in his congratulations, wishing His Beatitude Onuphry many happy returns of the day.

As the UOJ reported, on June 25, 2021, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrates the namesake day and the 50th anniversary of the monasticism of its Primate.
