Special prayers are being offered near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra for clergymen, journalists in confinement, and Orthodox lawyers. This was reported by the Save_Lavra Telegram channel.

On June 26, during the prayer gathering, a priest offered prayers for Metropolitan Arseniy, Archpriest Serhiy, journalists Valeriy, Volodymyr, Andriy, and all the "imprisoned" servants of God.

Believers also prayed for Metropolitan Pavel and the brethren of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery, as well as Orthodox lawyers.

The clergyman asked the Most Holy Theotokos and the Lord to protect them from all sorrow, trouble, need, mental and physical ailments, and to grant them His mercy.

As the UOJ reported, prayers for all Orthodox "prisoners of conscience" are offered near the Lavra.
