The meeting of the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken with Epiphany Dumenko is evidence of the recognition of the OCU by World Orthodoxy, assures Rostislav Pavlenko, MP from the European Solidarity Party.
“As for the role of the United States, I think that the meeting of Secretary of State Blinken with Metropolitan Epiphany is a self-sufficient signal that world Orthodoxy recognizes the UOC (OCU),” Pavlenko said in an interview with Glavcom.
Recall that Rostislav Pavlenko is one of the active lobbyists of the OCU, who during the presidency of Petro Poroshenko was in charge of the negotiation process with Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.
Previously, Pavlenko admitted that Poroshenko's government helped the OCU and accused Zelensky of not understanding the importance of the church issue.
