Lubynets stresses the importance of Fanar's participation in "Peace Summit"

During a meeting with Metropolitan Hilarion of Canada from the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubynets highlighted the importance of the Phanar delegation's participation, led by Patriarch Bartholomew, in the Swiss "Peace Summit", reports the Ombudsman's Office Facebook page.
The official also expressed gratitude for the attention the Patriarchate has given to cooperation with Ukraine in the humanitarian sphere, particularly concerning the return of Ukrainian children, civilian hostages, and prisoners of war.
As the UOJ reported, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople withdrew his signature from the final document of the "Peace Summit" held in Switzerland on June 14-15, 2024.
