Apostolic Nuncio to Ukraine Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas stated that the Roman Catholic Church invited Cardinal Parolin to visit the country amid the conflict for prayers, and he has accepted the invitation, as reported by Livyi Bereh. Preparation for this visit is currently underway in Ukraine.

"There is also a possibility of a meeting with representatives of the Office of the President," he added.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier during the Swiss Peace Summit, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Secretary of State of the Holy See, stated that the Vatican is ready to assist as a mediator in the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia, and for this purpose, he remains in constant communication with the Ukrainian and Russian governments.
