On July 15, 2024, a session was scheduled in the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal in Kyiv regarding the rights of the brethren to serve in the Upper Lavra. As reported on his Telegram channel by the monastery's lawyer, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, the hearing was postponed.

The next session will take place on August 5 at 12:00.

According to the Save_Lavra Telegram channel, the session was postponed because one of the Lavra's lawyers had to attend another hearing. Representatives of the respondent and third parties were against the postponement.

As the UOJ previously reported, the court had earlier granted a motion by a representative of the Ministry of Culture to postpone the hearing due to their involvement in another case.
