UOC hierarch takes part in celebrations of Bulgarian Church in Silistra

On July 11, 2021, Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Shargorod took part in the celebrations in honour of the Dorostoli saints in the city of Silistra, Bulgaria, reports the Mohyliv-Podilskyi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The hierarch of the UOC attended the celebrations in Bulgaria at the invitation of Metropolitan Jacob of Dorostolon of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

During the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Agapit concelebrated the representatives of the Bulgarian, Romanian and Moldavian Churches.

After the service, the participants in the celebrations held a religious procession and a prayer service.

As reported earlier, the hierarch of the Bulgarian Church, Metropolitan Gabriel of Lovech, called the UOC the only canonical Church in Ukraine.
