In the village of Blidcha in the Kyiv region, supporters of the OCU came to the house of a UOC priest and, based on documents stating that the church house where the priest's family lives is not a residential but an official premises, demanded that the priest vacate this house. This was reported by the KozakTv1 Telegram channel.
In May 2022, the UOC community in Blidcha's St. Barbara Church was taken away by OCU supporters. However, the latter could not prove that the rector's house, where Priest Alexander Gergalo lives, also now belongs to the OCU. However, a month ago, they re-registered the church house, and now the priest and his family, which includes young children, are compelled to seek another home.
As the UOJ previously reported, on May 13, 2023, OCU raiders seized the Transfiguration Church of the UOC in the village of Ivankiv, Boryspil district. Around 6 AM, OCU supporters cut the locks on the church doors and illegally entered the temple.
