The Deputy Head of the Department for Social Service and Charity of the OCU “priest” Serhiy Dmitriev, said on the air of Channel 5 that the Church had been in a state of crisis since its inception.
Answering the question of the journalist Yanina Sokolova, “What is the situation in the Church, how is it going?” Dmitriev answered the following, “How is the situation? The Church has been in crisis for 2,000 years.”
Commenting on the words of Archbishop Mykola of Vasylkiv that the Church was always ready for martyrdom, the “priest” of the OCU stated that “in fact, the persecuted Church in Ukraine is the Ukrainian Church” (obviously referring to the OCU – Ed.). Dmitriev expressed his conviction that the UOC has a "negative, impudent, provocative attitude towards Ukrainian society."
At the end of the program, Sokolova told Serhiy Dmitriev that thanks to her communication with him, she felt that “inside she was healed a little, like some kind of damage was removed.” She also invited the “priest” to finish the traditional patriotic slogans after her – “glory to the heroes, “death to the enemies”, “Putin is sh*t”, which Dmitriev confidently did.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the OCU began to build churches from foam.
