Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy, called the actions of the 'European Solidarity' members in blocking the parliament due to the failure to vote on the bill to ban the UOC an act of state treason. This was reported by Glavcom.

"Blocking the parliament during wartime is state treason. Whether you are an agent or a useful idiot, the stoppage of the VR's work that you call vacations is cynicism. I know it doesn't concern your ratings, but money for people on the front lines in September is unlikely to be handed out with posters and patriotic slogans," Hetmantsev said.

As the UOJ reported, MPs blocked the Parliament’s tribune due to the failure to vote on the anti-church bill No. 8371. The next Rada sessions were postponed until the end of August. Verkhovna Rada Speaker Stefanchuk stated that there are no vacations in the Rada, as committees will work, in particular, on bill No. 8371.
